Do I need a membership?
Yes. CLE certificates are available to Podcast CLE members and Premium members. Anyone can listen to the podcasts, but earning CLE credit requires an active membership.
How much does it cost?
Podcast CLE is $89/year. Premium membership — which includes unlimited video and podcast CLE across all states — is $249/year.
Can I listen on any podcast app?
Absolutely. Our CLE podcasts are on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and every major podcast app. The confirmation code is announced during the episode itself, so it works no matter how you listen.
How do I get my certificate?
After listening, sign in to TalksOnLaw.com and go to the podcast page for your state (talksonlaw.com/podcast/ca for California or talksonlaw.com/podcast/il for Illinois). Find the episode you listened to and enter the code you heard during the episode. Your certificate appears immediately and is stored in your account.
Can I earn all my required CLE through podcasts?
In California and Illinois, yes — our podcast libraries cover all required hours including ethics, professional responsibility, and elimination of bias. For states beyond CA and IL, video CLE is available through Premium membership.
What if my state isn't listed?
Some states don't yet permit accredited CLE by podcast. We're actively expanding. Contact us at support@talksonlaw.com with your state and we'll let you know about reciprocal credit options and our expansion timeline.
