Christine Mott

Christine Mott is an attorney, author, and adviser working at the intersection of animal protection, environmental advocacy, and food technology, including cultivated and cell-cultured foods. She served as Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary of the International Council of Shopping Centers from 2015 to 2019, and before that was an associate at Cahill Gordon & Reindel. She is a former chair of the Animal Law Committee of the New York City Bar Association, a founding board member and former chair of Empire State Humane Voters, a political advocacy organization working to elect candidates who support animal protection, and a former New York State Council member of the Humane Society of the United States. She has advised organizations including BlueNalu, Catskill Animal Sanctuary, and Lantern Publishing & Media. She is a graduate of Smith College and New York University School of Law.
