Sean D. Reyes is the 21st Attorney General of Utah. He was appointed in 2013, won the general election in 2014, and reelected in 2016. Prior to public office, he practiced litigation at Parsons Behle & Latimer for over 14 years. During that time, he was honored as the first-ever National Outstanding Young Lawyer by the American Bar Association and was recognized as a Utah Young Lawyer of the Year. He has served as General Counsel for eTAGZ, a media and technology company in Utah. He has also served for over a decade as a small claims judge for the 3rd District Court of Utah, during which time he was appointed to both state and federal commissions. He has also been active in many professional organizations, having served as the president of the Utah Minority Bar Association and in leadership for the Young Lawyers Division, and on many nonprofit boards.
